Wk 09 Maze Room Final Phase

This is the final result of my photoshop maze room. I decided to use mainly clipart/cartoony images, as i dont want the end result of the maze to be too creepy, but rather more lighthearted. This is shown in the overall atmosphere of this room.

Wk 08 Building/Larger Game Prop Final Phase+

This is the final product of my helmet. The color was simple to apply to the exterior, and i added a burn effect to the outer areas of the blue interior of the helmet. In the future, i could potentially add shading effects, as well. I may even add a metallic texture to the exterior, or to the knobs.

Wk 08 Building/Larger Game Prop Concept Phase

For my larger game prop, I decided to use a diver's helmet. As a possible upgrade for the character, or just as the prop used for the original character model, it will be an integral part of the game. The coloring options will be relatively simple, especially when considering i can use the burn and dodge tools to give the glass a nicer look.

Wk07 Pixel Art Prop Final Phase

This the final product for my Pixel Art prop assignment. I decided to go with three tones for the shades of blue, and i used the burn and dodge tools to help give accents. I'm happy with how it came out overall, because i can now see that it has a clearly defined color and shape that will help to make itself visible in the game world.

Wk07 PixelArt Prop Concept Phase

For my game prop, i chose an oxygen tank. Oxygen tanks are an important source of air for the diver, and these will be scattered throughout each level. I choose a thin design, and i will use very bright colors for the prop. This will help to accent the prop and make it easy to see.
