The idea for my maze will not be in my original game world. It will take place in a library, and the game will be a library-based maze. Textures of bookshelves can be used to line the long, narrow hallways. It also makes sense as to why my maze will be structured the way it is. It will allow for easy, yet creative, design of textures and layout overall. Getting out of the library will be no easy feat.

Wk06 Logo Design Final Phase
This is the final concept for my logo. The main things about the title that I wanted to keep was the text used in my title screen. I enjoyed the feel of the text, and thought that it keeps the theme of the game alive. So, the logo ended up being thumbnail sketch number one. This way, there is still an emphasis on the text that I previously used, and there is a blue anchor in the background, to represent the setting and weapon of the protagonist. This logo is simple and clean, and isn't unnecessarily complicated or cluttered.

Wk06 Logo Design Concept Phase
For my logo design, i find that it wound be rather important to include an anchor, as it is simple and represents a large portion of what the game is about. It is the protagonist's weapon, and it lets you know, in combination with the title, just what the environment will be like for the game (underwater.) For the 10 thumbnails, I am really leaning towards 1, 6 and 10, but I will probably choose 10. I like the idea of the anchor having hit the bottom of the ocean, and the style of having the text inside the anchor.

Wk 05 Title Screen Final Phase
This is the final concept for my animated title screen. I was able to do what I wanted to with the fish and the swinging anchor. I also was able to have the text sway up and down in a wave-like motion. This gives it more of a feel of the text being in the ocean, adding to the immersion of the game overall. The animations are simple, yet add a lot to the game feel.
